AEGON Scottish Equitable are the only Group Risk Insurer to provide RED ARC services on Group Critical Illness and Group Life products.

Group Critical Illness - Claimants and their families are offered RED ARC's Critical Illness Service, including the allocation of a personal nurse adviser who can commission a specialist nurse home visit or a programme of therapy or counselling - whichever is the most appropriate. The service is free of charge.

Group Life - Employees and their families can access RED ARC following the death of a loved one, or alternatively on diagnosis of a terminal illness. If an employee dies, their families will be supported by a personal nurse adviser, who can commission bereavement counselling aimed at building a coping strategy going forward. Again, the services are free of charge.


Innovation in Service Design - RED ARC and AEGON Scottish Equitable have worked together to design services that are relevant to the Group market. These designs recognise that a critical illness or terminal condition are rare events and, as with a death, require great sensitivity in the way they are handled. That is why the benefits of the services have been extended to HR, Line Managers and even colleagues to help them cope with what is often a 'unique' event in their working lives.
