Launch of the new RED ARC ‘Patient and Therapist’ Website
RED ARC Assured is pleased to announce a new look for it’s main website at www.redarc.co.uk and also a new section at www.redarc.info with extra information for our patients providing them more details on what to expect from their RED ARC Personal Nurse Advisor.
More details on the website changes can be found in ARCLight issue 3 available in December 2009.
RED ARC ‘Patient Ambassador’
It is quite common for RED ARC patients to want to share their stories with us to make sure that other people can make the best use of the support and help we can provide. Recently however, Claire Carlson a patient who came to us via the Philip Williams Police Federation scheme has agreed to act as our new Patient Ambassador. Claire will be involved with giving both new and existing clients an idea of the patient experience in more detail. Expect to see much more from Claire on our website, in forthcoming issues of ARCLight and also possibly in person at scheme sponsor meetings.
Learn more about Claire’s story in issues 3 and 4 of ARCLight in December 2009 and then early 2010.
A National Nursing Award for one of our Specialist Nurses
RED ARC works with a number of different specialist nurses providing in-depth clinical expertise across a wide range of medical disciplines.
Jo Johnson, a neuro-oncology clinical nurse specialist has been providing support for the RED ARC Personal Nurse Adviser team for a number of months now. Recently Jo received a national award for Best Practice in Medication Administration.
Everyone at RED ARC would like to congratulate Jo on her deserved recognition.
We’re planning a special feature on Jo in ARCLight in 2010.
