Pricing

RED ARC's pricing usually follows 'Group' principles.

What constitutes a group depends on the circumstances. Typically it might be

   • a book of insurance policyholders

   • or a membership or affinity group

Adopting this approach usually allows everyone in the group to be included in the service. Key determinents of the pricing will usually be

   • scope of service

   • volumes

   • likely utilisation levels

In some designs, for example, our old age care service, the age disposition of the group may also be a factor.

Scheme sponsors may decide to absorb the cost of providing the scheme from within existing charges or margins, or pass the cost on by way of a small extra charge on premiums or membership fees.
