Trauma can occur in a wide variety of  circumstances, very often it arises in a work environment such as those working in the emergency services, but it can also occur in everyday life, for example  when someone suffers a burglary, flooding or witnesses a shocking event. Symptoms can manifest themselves immediately or many years later.

The effects of trauma and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) are very personal and can be a totally debilitating form of mental illness.

Within our team we have qualified Mental Health personal nurse advisers who have plenty of time to talk to customers and, more importantly, listen. They give their support and guidance for as long as it’s needed.
